It’s An Event For Your Tastebuds
All of your smiling faces were missed at the festival this year, but we’ve come up with a way to make you smile nonetheless.
One of the signature experiences at Tacos y Tamales Festival each year is enjoying the sunshine with a Michelada in hand. While we can’t give you the sunshine, we can give you our secret Michelada mix! Until we meet again you can enjoy a fresh, delicious Michelada at home – year-round! We appreciate your support and hope to see you again in 2021!
Grab your very own 32oz. bottle of Michelada mix and get to sippin’!

Pilsen is only a few minutes away from the center of Chicago by bus or train. This working-class neighborhood is thick with riches in art and historic architecture, and occupied by a community that’s fiercely proud of where they live. The Tacos y Tamales Festival aims to give back to the community in which it is hosted; as a portion of the proceeds will benefit local community groups as well as preservation projects inhabiting Pilsen’s everyday lifestyle.
16th Street Murals
The Tacos y Tamales Festival will take place in the shadows of the 16th street murals. Local, as well as National and International artists have their works displayed on these walls. The giant paintings make for a very beautiful and unique backdrop for the event. They are truly a sight to behold. The Tacos y Tamales Festival will be raising money for the preservation of these cultural landmarks.
