We’ve outgrown our old spot! After almost a decade at the same location, Tacos y Tamales Festival is moving to a more spacious home on Blue Island Ave. (southwest of Ashland & Cermak) for our biggest celebration yet. The street will be closed from Wolcott to Ashland with multiple entry points for easy access.
Getting Here Is Easy
Take the CTA Pink Line to either the 18th or Damen stops, both just a short walk to the festival. Bus riders can hop on routes 9 (Ashland), X9 (Ashland Express), 21 (Cermak), 50 (Damen), or 60 (Blue Island/26th).
Festival Hours
Friday: 5-9pm
Saturday: 12-9pm
Sunday: 12-9pm
SUGGESTED DONATION
The Tacos y Tamales Festival aims to give back to the community as a portion of proceeds will benefit the local Pilsen Arts & Community House and Frida Community Organization.
The Festival is free to attend, however there is a Suggested Donation benefiting these local causes.
